INTRODUCTION:
On 17th March Irish people celebrate St. Patrick's Day.TASK:
In order to get acquainted with this popular festivity, you are going to create a Power Point presentation about it.
PROCESS:
- You will work in groups of four students (same groups as usual A, B,C, D and E). You need to find the answers to these questions. Go to the Resources section to find some links which will help you in your work.
1. Who was Saint Patrick?
2. Where in the world is St. Patrick's celebrated?
3. Explain some typical Irish symbols: shamrock, green colour, snakes, leprechauns...
4. How can we celebrate Saint Patrick's?
5. Explain some traditional recipes for this day.
- Once you have gathered enough information, create a presentation.You are allowed to have more than one slide to answer for each question. Include some nice images and try not to make your texts too long.
EVALUATION:
You will present your projects in class. The assessment criteria will be based on your creativity, information quality and oral skills.
